There are lot of bituminous varnishes on the market today, however every type is not suitable for a specific use. For example, the bituminous penetration varnish serves for the penetration of base slabs and lower parts of structures before the application of bituminous insulations; however if used separately, it is not very resistant to humidity penetration.
To protect underground parts of structures, preservation and renewal of roofing, and waterproofing of terraces, it is much more advantageous to use an insulation bituminous varnish. This bituminous mass has excellent adhesive properties after solvent evaporation to all commonly available building materials, such as concrete, masonry or metal.
After treatment and regeneration of bituminous roof cardboards it is suitable to use a combination of the bituminous penetration paint and a suspension.
