The SAFETY REPORT provides information on the management system to prevent serious accidents, information on the environment around the facility, technical description of the facility and equipment, the process and results of risk (danger) identification, risk analysis and assessment and prevention methods, safety measures for dealing with accidents and mitigation of their impact.

Other mandatory documents drafted by ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o., in accordance with the above-mentioned Act include: PHYSICAL PROTECTION PLAN (protection of the facility), INTERNAL EMERGENCY PLAN (measures to be taken inside the facility to deal with serious accidents and mitigate their impact).

Furthermore, ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o., provided the Regional Office of the Ústí Region with written data and information for defining an emergency planning zone and for developing an external emergency plan. The Regional Office processed this information and made it available to the public residing in the emergency planning zone. This includes information about the risk of serious accidents, including the domino effect, about preventive safety measures, impact mitigation measures and the desirable action to be taken by the residents in case of a serious accident.

Hazardous goods are transported in accordance with the ADR (European Agreement on the International Carriage of Hazardous Goods by Road) and the RID (Ordinance on the International Carriage of Hazardous Goods by Rail). ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o., has its Safety Plan for the Carriage of Highly Dangerous Goods that complies with the ADR requirements.​

As the company ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o. would like to provide help concerning information to public within the zone of emergency planning and its surroundings in case of emergency at it´s production units, the company signed agreement on mutual cooperation with Litvínov and Most, of which the subject is distribution of crisis SMS. Such crisis SMS is an additional item to already implemented warning system and shall enable to inform public on major-hazard accidents, recommended behaviour and possible restrictions in movement of people and material within the Zone of Emergency Planning and its surroundings.
